We continue our Holy Spirit series with Pt. 12 — The More Excellent Way Pt 2.

As we move from the fruit of the Spirit into the gifts of the Spirit, Paul reminds us that spiritual gifts are not given for self-promotion, platform-building, or personal identity. They are given by the same Spirit, through different members of the body, for the building up of the church.

In this message, we look at 1 Corinthians 12:4–7 and Romans 12:3–8 to see that there is no superiority in the body of Christ, that our gifts are meant to serve others, and that a healthy church makes room for every member’s contribution. The goal is not to become more visible, but to make Christ more visible.
