“The Cost of Following Jesus” explores Jesus’ sobering yet empowering words in John 15:18–16:4. In this passage, Jesus prepares His disciples for the reality that following Him will lead to rejection, misunderstanding, and even persecution. But He doesn’t leave them alone—He promises the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen them in their witness. This message calls us to live faithfully in a world that may push back against our convictions, reminding us that endurance is formed through truth, empowered by the Spirit, and rooted in Christ.
