In Part 2 of Made to Worship, we look at Paul’s words in Romans 12:1–2 and discover that worship is far more than a song, a moment, or something we do on Sunday. In view of God’s mercy, Paul calls us to offer our whole lives to God as a living sacrifice.
Worship begins with grace and becomes surrender. It is the daily decision to place our plans, relationships, work, finances, fears, habits, and future in the hands of Jesus. The question is not simply, “Did I worship?” but, “What is still sitting beside the altar?” Before worship is a song we sing, it is a life we surrender.
