In the final message of our Waiting Tables series, we return to the table of Jesus and discover that serving begins with grace. Before Jesus ever sends us to serve others, He first welcomes us, loves us, and gives us a place we could never earn.
Through John 13, Luke 22, and Romans 12, we see the King take the towel, redefine greatness, and show us that grace received is meant to become grace given. We are not called to serve in order to belong—we serve because, in Christ, we already do.
We come to the table to receive grace, and we leave the table ready to give ourselves away.
